About

I am currently a post-doctoral researcher in the Linguistics Department at Potsdam University and the member of the Potsdam Morpho-Syntax Lab

I did my PhD at Leipzig University, as part of the research training group Interaction of Grammatical Building Blocks (IGRA). My dissertation can be accessed here. After this, I was a post-doctoral researcher at Leipzig University in the project Prospects of inflectional morphology in Harmonic Serialism.

My interests lie in syntax, morphology, and fieldwork. I have worked on relative clauses, reconstruction, case, concord, gender, noun phrase structure, ellipsis, and affix order.

My official name is Mariia Privizentseva, but everyone calls me Masha.
My pronouns are she\her.
